A self-taught Portuguese artist, Gordoletters draws inspiration from Persian, South American and African cultures, staging the opposition of black and white within his abstract compositions. Blending traditional hand lettering with modern calligraphy, he has built a unique universe oscillating between dreamlike imagery and graffiti. Multidisciplinary, Gordoletters inhabits urban landscapes encountered on his many travels, canvases, jewellery and the bodies he tattoos with brilliance and sensitivity.
