We have decided to launch “Jeune fille à la tapisserie” by Caroline Karenine in a 7-day limited edition.
The sale will be from Tuesday, November 29 to Tuesday, December 6.
Shipments will begin from December 12 to guarantee delivery before Christmas for any gifts.
However, if we do meet a large demand, we will keep you personally informed of any delay in manufacturing and delivery.
This 7-day edition will be numbered, signed and repainted by hand by Caroline Karenine on Japanese Kozo paper.
The handmade paper and Caroline’s contributions to her original design make each work unique.
Print in 32 x 33 cm, on Kozo paper.
Due to artisanal and manual production, each print is unique, slightly different in size and appearance.
Digital print on Kozo organic paper, hand-enhanced by the artist.
The Japanese papers produced by the paper workshop are made in France in the purest Japanese tradition, according to the teachings of 2 Japanese master paper makers recognized as UNESCO intangible heritage.
They are not chlorinated, natural coloring is preferred, this gives the paper a feel, shine, resistance and light close to silk.
The plants used in the manufacture of washi are cultivated and maintained by the workshop.
Here for 100% Kozo paper, the raw material kozo or paper mulberry is harvested within a perimeter of 50 km around the workshop.
The water used for this production is natural spring water, bringing softness and transparency to the Japanese paper.
